DualBox3 (what you find on our PRO and PRO+ Frames) is the latest evolution of the innovative and patented DualBox design for inline speed frames. Optimizing the elastic properties of inline skate frames (which the skater interprets as stiffness and feel, and contribute greatly to ride quality and power transmission) via the mechanical properties of the tubular sidewalls to enhance rigidity. The DualBox design provides progressive flexural feel for the skater rather than isolated areas of varying stiffness which are inherent to many, more traditional double-void extrusion frames. Meaning: They feel better, they behave better, you skate better. Cado Motus frames for advanced racers, the PRO and PRO+ are based on DualBox3 technology. |

Dual Box™ is a trademark name for the patented tubular sidewall inline skating frame – one of CadoMotus core technologies. Developed in 1999 by Diederik Hol, the Dual Box™ was devised to optimize the elastic properties of inline skate frames (interpreted as stiffness and feel, and contributing to ride quality and power transmission) via the mechanical properties of the tubular sidewall. |

The Dual Box™ design eliminates the need for horizontal cross-bracing, and provides progressive flexural feel for the skater rather than the isolated areas of varying stiffness – inherent to many, more traditional double-void extrusion frames. Rollerblade professional racing team debuted the Dual Box frame to the world in 2001, heralding the beginning of a new age of skate technology. From that day on, team athletes rode Dual Box frames across the finish line first in numerous Swiss Inline Cup, World Inline Cup and World Championship events. One of the most successful frame designs in speed skating, no doubt. |
